Downtown Sarasota Condos - Plaza at Five Points
Urban Lifestyle in Sarasota Florida
In April, we commented on Plaza at Five Points, one of downtown Sarasota Florida's top new condominiums. When these condos were built in 2006, luxury customers were plentiful and Plaza at Five Points was one of the most talked about new condos as the amenity lists is geared to the luxury owner.
Amenities: BBQ/Picnic, Elevator, Kitchen, Fitness, Heated Pool, Spa/Hot Tub
Residents can walk to the bay front area and enjoy waterfront activities, sip a soda at O'Leary's or have cocktails at Marina Jack's and watch an incredible sunset.
Since Plaza at Five Points is right in the heart of downtown Sarasota, you can stroll through the tree-lined downtown area and visit shops, cafes and restaurants. Sarasota's wonderful cultural attractions are in this area also. Even though Sarasota has a small town feel, it isn't without city cultures such as the opera, ballet and museums.
Want to get away from urban life for an afternoon? The island beaches of Sarasota are a short drive away from the downtown area where you can enjoy fishing, walking, diving and visit the dolphins and pelicans.
Condos in downtown Sarasota are reasonably priced for their location which is close "everything" and the inventory levels offer a great selection for buyers who are shopping for South West FL real estate. In our April post we mentioned a two bedroom and two bath unit at Plaza at Five Points listed in the Sarasota MLS at $799,000. This unit has been reduced, according to MLS data to $749,000.
There are currently a few condos at Plaza at Five Points listed as active and prices range from $749,000 to $$4,500,000. If you can purchase a condo on a grander scale, be sure to ask to visit a penthouse unit offering spectacular water and city views. Plaza at Five Points may be your next Sarasota home!
More Downtown Condominiums:
Established Condos: Tessera, Sarabande, Essex House and Embassy House
Newer Downtown Condos: 1350 Main, 100 Central, Kanaya, Burns Court Villas, Plaza at Five Points
Be sure to check with a real estate agent in Sarasota regarding pets as each downtown Sarasota condo building has a pet policy for its residents and many are not pet friendly! Don't' buy something only later to find out that your special family member won't be allowed to even visit.
